High Plains Bank Work Culture

Work Culture and Community Impact

At High Plains Bank, helping people and our communities thrive comes before banking. We say family first, then community, then the bank. For us, banking is the WAY we serve local communities to help them grow and prosper. High Plains Bank is proud to collaborate with many community partners, including school districts, chambers of commerce, civic and cultural organizations, health and human services, youth clubs, the arts, senior centers, and much more. The majority of our team members work where they live in, which is reflected in the deep commitment to community success.

We treat our customers as our neighbors and like good neighbors, we help care for them, including their financial well-being.

After seven years in banking, I've found a home with a company that shares my values. Family is everything to me, and I'm proud to be part of a team that supports personal growth and empowers everyone to reach their full potential. It's a perfect fit for me, where my priorities and aspirations are not only understood but also encouraged.

Community Impact, Awards, and Accolades

At High Plains Bank, I feel fortunate to be allowed the opportunity to be a community ambassador by representing the bank at sponsored events. High Plains Bank also pays local rotary club membership dues for employees. I am a member of the Longmont Rotary Club where I personally support youth leadership efforts and organize our annual Rotary Peach Fundraiser. On my own time, I currently serve as the Vice President on the board of El Comité de Longmont and am the chair for Longmont Multicultural Action Committee. These relationships help build community in the name of the bank.
