Learn More About Working at High Plains Bank

Brooke Kappert photo
My experience at HPB has been nothing short of transformative.  When I expressed my interest in returning to college, High Plains Bank leadership not only encouraged me, but helped me explore the HPB Employee Education Program. With their support and the bank's flexibility, I was able to earn my Associate's Degree in Applied Science with an emphasis in accounting while working full-time. I'm able to apply what I've learned to assist my Relationship Managers and  begin underwriting consumer loans. I'm incredibly grateful for HPB's commitment to my development and excited about the future opportunities this education has unlocked.

Culture and Community Impact

At High Plains Bank, helping people and our communities thrive comes before banking. We say family first, then community, then the bank. For us, banking is the WAY we serve local communities to help them grow and prosper. High Plains Bank is proud to collaborate with many community partners, including school districts, chambers of commerce, civic and cultural organizations, health and human services, youth clubs, the arts, senior centers, and much more. The majority of our team members work where they live in, which is reflected in the deep commitment to community success.

Our customers as our neighbors and like good neighbors, we help care for them, including their financial well-being.

Respected, Independent, and Certified Evergreen®

High Plains Bank has been recognized as a both an industry and community leader. In 2024, High Plains Bank was recognized by the Tugboat Institute as a Certified Evergreen® business, reflecting the generational commitment to remain independent to ensure our communities have access to essential financial services that enable communities to thrive.
